Primary Level( Elementary)

An elementary school is a primary school which is the main point of delivery of primary education. An elementary school is for children , typically older than toddlers and younger than adolescents. In Gurukul School Elementary covers grades 2 to 5, and the age of the children is usually 6 to 11 years. At a minimum, elementary school will teach basic reading, writing, arithmetic and history.

The physical organization of the school needs to provide easy navigation that builds confidence without sacrificing safety and security. Our elementary school also requires these types of environment and space for science lab, computer lab, music class, dance class, karate, radio programs, horse riding, swimming, drawing , singing and also focuses on outdoor and indoor activities. Yoga, basketball, badminton, football, cricket, table tennis and emphasis on moral education and imbibing values and ethics of life. There is spacious, air conditioned, well ventilated and cosy classrooms with customized furniture for each group of students. There is comfortable seating furniture of international standard. We focus on balanced scholastic and co-scholastic activities for all round development of the child. Hygienic, balanced and nutritive lunch and snacks with focus on inculcation of table manners. Filtered drinking water is available. The classrooms are facilitated with audio- visual room, with white boards (smart boards) and congenial learning atmosphere free from air pollution and noise pollution. Information and computer technology are used as a learning resources in each class and computer lab with internet access.

In our elementary department all the staffs are qualified, well experienced and trained staff with national and international exposure. Teacher- students ratio in every classes is equal or less than desired ratio of 1: 30. Continuous updates are sent to parents to keep them abreast of the progress of child and get feedback for upgradation. Elementary School is a milestone in the education of Gurukul. It gives a broad area for individual to excel their studies as well as they are encouraged to organize various activities like sports, culture, literary activities.
