Montessori (Pre-Primary)

Montessori education is an educational approach developed by the Italian physician Maria Montessori. Montessori education is characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits and respect for a child’s natural psychological development as well as technological advancements in society. The Montessori curriculum is divided into five keys areas of learning practical life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Culture. Each curriculum area has a Dedicated space in the prepared Environment.

The school follows the blending of Montessori Method and other interactive teaching methodology at this stage. The pupils learn in an informal way with the help of specially designed apparatus under the supervision and guidance of trained and experienced teachers. Special attention is paid to facilitate the physical, mental, emotional and social growth of the child through a series of well co-ordinate activities. Mini Seminar kinds of activities provide conducive learning ground to children and enhance their confidence.
